Abstract:

PURPOSE: To provide the novel medical compsn. for diabetic nephropathy treatment which decreases albumin urine without changing the filtration rate of glomerculus and has low toxicity.
CONSTITUTION: This medicinal compsn. contains the sulodexide (chemical name: glucurono-2-amino-2-deoxyglucansulfate) which is the naturally derived glycosaminoglycan extracted from the intestinal mucosa of mammals having the sulfation degree and anti-coagulation activity lower than those of heparin. This compsn. is preferably formed in the form to allow the medication of the sulodexide at a dose of 41.6 to 124 mg per day. The compd. is conveniently used in all forms medicatable by an oral route, subcutaneous route, muscular route or venous route.
