Abstract:
To obtain a superovulation inducer for cattle causing a small stress to the cattle, increasing the number of recovered eggs and reducing operation labor by reducing the number of administration times, and to provide a method for inducing superovulation.
A suspension comprises an aluminum hydroxide gel and a gonadotrophic hormone and contains the aluminum hydroxide gel in an amount of 1.0-5.0 mg expressed in terms of aluminum based on 1 ml. The dose for one cattle is 2-20 ml expressed in terms of the aluminum hydroxide and 10-50 AU expressed in terms of the gonadotrophic hormone. The superovulation inducer for the cattle comprising the aluminum hydroxide gel and gonadotrophic hormone is administered to a cow.
