Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the utilizing efficiency of a channel in the case of supervising a supervised area by sending an image of the supervised area from a transmitter side device to a receiver side device via the channel and to raise attention of a supervisory immediately at the receiver side device on the occurrence of a fault in the supervised area.
SOLUTION: For example, a transmitter side device 1 and a receiver side device 2 are configured by still image terminals and a line 3 between both devices is interrupted. In this case, in the transmitter side device 1, a video camera 11 picks up a moving image of a supervised area, and a change detection means 12 detects a change in an image between frames a moving image to be picked up. As a result, in the case that an image change is detected, a line connection means 13 connects a line 3 and a transmission means 14 sends an image of a frame whose change is detected to the receiver side device 2 via the line 3. On the other hand, in the receiver side device 2, a reception means 21 receives the image sent from the transmitter side device 1 via the line 3 and a display means 22 displays the received image on a screen of a monitor television receiver 4.
