Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the attenuation of a frequency signal outside the passband in an acoustic wave filter device.
SOLUTION: A SAW filter body 101 is mounted in a box-shaped package body. This device has ground pads 110-1 and 110-2, an input pad and an output pad on the upper side of a bottom plate of the package body and has ground foot patterns 113 and 114 at one of the diagonal positions on the bottom and input and output foot patterns at the other diagonal position. The pads 110-1 and 110-2 are cut off by a separating part and are divided. A cap 103 is electrically connected to the pad 110-1 by a via 125 inside a frame 105. The attenuation outside the passband is improved because the interference between ground potential about an input side comb-shaped electrode pair of an element and ground potential about an output side comb-shaped electrode pair of the element is prevented from occurring.
