PURPOSE: To finish the surface to be polished with high accuracy by adsorbing a polishing sheet with continuous blowing agent filled in a vacuum suction container thereby contacting the polishing sheet softly against the surface to be polished having fine projections/recesses.

CONSTITUTION: When rotating a vacuum suction container 1 through a motor 9 and evacuating the container 1, the polishing sheet 7 is adsorbed to the surface of continuous blowing agent 6 filled in the container 1 and rotates together with the container 1. When contacting an object to be polished against said polishing sheet 7 and pressing, the sheet 7 will contact softly against said surface while bending with correspondence to the surface of said object having fine projections/recesses thus to finish the surface uniformly with said polishing sheet 7.
