To provide surgical forceps which have both a cramping function and a cutting function.
A blade member 5 is attached on the upper end of forceps 1, 4. Column shape blade attaching seats 42, 6 are set on the upper end of the forceps and the blade member 5 is fit into the blade attaching seats 42, 6 to exchangeably attach the blade member 5. The blade attaching seats 42, 6 are fixed to the upper end of existing forceps and the blade member 5 is exchangeably attached to the blade attaching seats 42, 6. By this invention, the tip end of forceps has a cramping function and further thread, and the like, can be cut by the blade member 5 on the upper end. Accordingly, when a doctor operates and rotates forceps by 180° upon suture operation, the thread, and the like, can be cut by the blade member 5. The forceps do not require cutting scissors and help by a nurse and capable of shortening suture time and anesthesia time and reduction of an anesthetic agent.
