Title:
SWITCH MATRIX FOR SATELLITE PAYLOAD THAT PERFORMS MANY PROCESSES FOR UPLINK BEAMS AND ON-BOARD SIGNAL
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3839679
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a switch matrix in which a configuration suitable to be used in a spacecraft is simple and one to-multiple point connection can be performed without accompanying excessive signal loss.
SOLUTION: This switch matrix 200 is provided with an input module 204 and an output module 206. The input module 204 has a plurality inputs 202A to N for respectively receiving uplink beams 114 and a plurality of outputs while the number of the plurality of inputs is the same as the number of cells in a reused pattern and the number of the plurality of outputs is the same as the number of subbands in the uplink beams. The output module 206 is connected to the input module 204, an output from the module 204 is selectively connected to an output of the module 206, and the output of the module 206 is connected to a demodulator 108.
