Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To detect synchronous information even against a video signal from a video signal source of wide range of which technical standard is not strict by providing a timer coupled with a trigger circuit and searching for a time between specified positions on continuous frames and a computation circuit searching for a horizontal line time.
SOLUTION: This device is composed of a trigger circuit 40 detecting specified positions on respective continuous frames of a video signal, a timer 42 coupled with the trigger circuit 40 and searching for a time between the specified positions on the continuous frames, and a computation circuit 50 searching for a horizontal line time in response to the timer 42. Hereat, the output end of a rasterizer 30 is coupled with the input end of a display 15. An oscilloscope probe 7 is also coupled with the input end of the trigger circuit 40. The first output end of the trigger circuit 40 is coupled with the input end of the computation circuit 50, and the second output end of the trigger circuit 40 is coupled with the control input end of a sampler 10. The output end of the computation circuit 50 is coupled with the control input end of the rasterizer 20.
