Title:
SYNTHESIS OF 6,6-DISUBSTITUTED DIHYDROPTERIDINE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2529092
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To synthesize the compound for the treatment of Parkinson's disease or the like by oxidizing a 6-(2-amino-2,2-disubstituted ethylamino)-5-amino- pyrimidine to form an 5-imine and then condensing it after hydrolysis.
CONSTITUTION: The target compound of formula II or formula III (Q1 and Q2 are each O or HR6) is synthesized by oxidizing a 6-(2-amino-2,2-disubstituted ethylamino)-5-amino-pyrimidine of formula I (R1 and R2 are each H, hydroxy, 1-4C alkynyl or the like; R3 and R4 are each 1-12C alkyl, 2-7C alkenyl, 2-7C alkynyl or the like; R5 is H, 1-6C alkyl, 1-7C cycloalkyl or the like) with a halogen (e.g. bromide or iodine) to form an 5-imine and then condensing it after the hydrolysis using a dithionite or a hydrogen in the presence of a catalytic amount of palladium.
