This synthetic fiber cable (1) comprises the bundle of the load- bearing synthetic fibers (2) and at least one of a temperature-sensing element (9), particularly as a bearing element for elevator. The temperature-sensing element (9) forms the conductive connection depending on the temperature and this connection is always monitored by the measuring techniques. The conductive connection is discontinued by the inspection controller, when the synthetic cable (1) reaches its limitation temperature. The temperature-sensing element (9) is a thin wire that melts at its limit temperature. The synthetic fiber cable (1) is used as a safety device in the elevator installation, particularly as a fire alarm.
