Abstract:
To increase pressure resistance of an intake manifold made of synthetic resin without increasing the number of component parts.SOLUTION: An intake manifold 1 is constituted by integral formation of a first member 5 having a collector main body 7 and four branch half-splits 4A, and a second member 6 having a collector cover 14 and four branch half-splits 4B under application of vibration deposition. The collector cover 14 has a ceiling wall 15 and this ceiling wall 15 has formed with four continuous holes 16 at the four branches 4. A peripheral part 16a of each of the continuous holes 16 is formed approximately as a rectangular continuous opening. In addition, the collector cover 14 has a linear extending branch part side deposition line 23 at a position adjacent to the branch half-split 4B, this branch part side deposition line 23 constitutes a rectangular continuous deposition line through combination with the deposition lines 22, 24 and 25.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 9
