Abstract:
To provide membranes with separation limit and hydraulic permeability that can be set exactly, but for which, meanwhile, the hydraulic permeability can also be set precisely, independently of the separation limit, so that it is possible to produce membranes with the defined separation limit which can have a low, medium or high range hydraulic permeability, as required.
Membranes favorably suitable for use in hemodialysis comprising a separating layer A with a separation limit between 500 and 5,000,000, a support layer B, and a layer C which determines the hydraulic permeability together are described. The separation limit and hydraulic permeability can be set independently of one another.
