Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a syrup dispensing system having a plurality of dispensing lines free from unwanted dripping of syrup during a quiescent period.
CONSTITUTION: A plurality of dispensing lines 34, 36 of the syrup dispensing system are interconnected by a connector 32, a solenoid valve 30 is provided at one of pump side ends of the connector, and upper parts of the dispensing lines 34, 36 are bent downwardly at a position above a pump to terminate in a dispensing head. The solenoid valve 30 and a valve 22 serving both to pressurize and to vent a tank 14 are controlled by a microprocessor 48, so that syrup in the dispensing lines is retreated after completion of dispensing.
