Abstract:
PURPOSE: To improve the reliability of the system clock circuit used for an electronic exchange, etc., by reducing the error of a system timer due to variation in ambient temperature.
CONSTITUTION: A high frequency clock as a source clock generated by a high frequency vibrator 1 has its frequency divided by a frequency divider 2 and is supplied to the system timer 3. A temperature sensor 4 measures the ambient temperature of the high frequency vibrator 1. A control means 5 controls the frequency division ratio of the frequency divider 2 according to information from the temperature sensor 4 to absorb the clock variation of the high frequency vibrator 1 due to the ambient temperature variation.
