Next, the merchandise purchase supporting server 10 uses the read OA equipment characteristic 1561 to generate display data to be displayed on a displaying part 23 of the customer terminal 20 with information including a merchandise characteristic as merchandise information and transmits the generated display data to the customer terminal 20 through the Internet 50. When the customer terminal 20 receives the display data, the customer terminal 20 uses the display data to display a merchandise characteristic display picture.
