Abstract:
To provide a system and a method for combining coordinate spaces in two locations by using features on work-pieces during execution instead of a calibration target in calibration time.SOLUTION: A method specifies a feature by imaging features of the same work-piece at two locations. The captured features of the work-piece during execution are different depending on a location. A first location including a motion stage is calibrated to the motion stage by using a hand-eye calibration, and a second location is subjected to the hand-eye calibration and changed to the same motion stage by reciprocating components during execution between both of the locations. For example, quality of the first two techniques can be improved by moving the work-piece during execution with different postures at many times, extracting and accumulating features at each location, and using the accumulated features to combine the two coordinate spaces.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
