Abstract:

To provide a system with which charge payment can be accurately and simply made in user on-line shopping or off-line transaction.

When a user 20 does shopping by using a merchandise purchase image provided by a store 21 via the Internet 24, the user utilizes a settlement reservation service provided by a charge management server 23. The server 23 stores the shopping contents of the user 20 as a database and simultaneously stores a payment amount and a paid/unpaid status into the shopping contents. The user looks at the list of unpaid articles in the shopping contents provided by the server 23, selects an item to be settled by the user, designates an account handling institution for performing bunds transfer and performs bunds transfer on-line. The server 23 automatically performs erasure work about the shopping contents whose charge has been transferred.
