Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make the telephone number of an origination side secret to the originating person side and a terminating person and to enable an administrator of position information data to charge a user of position information.
SOLUTION: An originating terminal has a ciphering means which ciphers position information on itself with a master key and sends it out to a switching network. The switching network has a 1st exchange which accommodates the originating terminal, a deciphering center which is provided independently of the exchange and deciphers the ciphered position information by using the master key and sends the position information out, and a 2nd exchange having a switching means which accommodates a terminating terminal, a position information providing means which provides the obtained position information for the terminating terminal by requesting the deciphering center to decipher the ciphered position information received from the originating terminal, and a charging means which charges the terminating terminal. The terminating terminal has a communication means which sends and receives information through the switching means of the 2nd exchange, a position information receiving means which obtains the position information from the 2nd exchange, and a display means which displays the obtained position information.
