Abstract:
To provide a system and method for providing spatially variable demosaic processing including magnification color aberration correction.
In one embodiment, the system and method relates to the steps of: collecting color information which is sensed by pixels of an image sensor 204 (302); and weighting the color information collected by the adjacent pixels which are disposed in the direction wherein the color is shifted by magnification color aberration, to estimate the color information which can not be collected by a concerned pixel, for the concerned pixel (304).
