Abstract:

To provide a robot which performs a natural motion (e.g., a human-like motion) based on motion capture data.

A controller 100 of the robot includes a balance controller 101 configured to provide a balance control signal, and a tracking controller 102 configured to generate a motion command set to track an input reference motion while maintaining balance in accordance with the balance control signal. In this structure, each of a plurality of joints of the robot uses the motion command, thereby tracking the reference motion and maintaining the balance.
