To provide a system and a method for transmitting toll-charging signal, with which the toll-charging signal having a time limit can be returned to a high-order device almost without delay even for a subscriber radio system having great propagation delay.
The system is provided with a public terminal (10) having a function for counting the class or amount of put-in coins and card and transmitting the result to a subscriber station device (20) as stored coin information for a public telephone service in the subscriber radio system, the subscriber station device (20) having a function for transmitting the stored coin information from the public terminal (10) to a base station device and a base station device (30) having a function for reproducing a toll-charging signal suitable to a coin storage signal from the high-order device on the basis of the stored coin information from the subscriber station device (20). By pseudo reproduction of the toll-charging signal which can not be originally transmitted within the toll- charging signal wait time of a high-order device (40) because of signal transmission delay, the toll-charging information can be counted properly in the high- order device.
