Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system for optimizing an entanglement state which is applicable to industry, and a quantum information and communications technology using such a kind of system based on an optical fiber or the like.
SOLUTION: The system for optimizing the entanglement state includes: a waveform shaping device to adjust the waveform of a laser beam from a pulsed laser; a nonlinear medium which transmits the laser beam outputted from the waveform shaping device and imparts a nonlinear effect thereto; a detector to detect the laser beam outputted from the nonlinear medium; and a control device which controls information including the entanglement state of the laser beam detected by the detector, feeds the information back to the waveform shaping device and obtains a desirable entanglement state by repeatedly optimizing the entanglement state.
