Abstract:

PURPOSE: To write a control program into HD from CMT by SVP itself when the control program does nor exist in HD in SVP having HD in a main recording medium and CMT in the loading medium of the control program for HD as external recording mediums.

CONSTITUTION: The initial start-up system of an information processor is provided with ROM 3 (read-only memory), SVPMS 6 (control memory of SVP), DBuf 7 (data buffer), an IMPL key 1 (initial microprogram loading designation SW), SW 5 (made designation SW for starting SVP by HD or writing into HD in initial state), CMT 8 (cassette magnetic tape: second device) storing an HD initial write program 10 and the control program 11 which is to be written into HD 9, HD 9 (hard disk : first device) and a common bus 2 connecting them.
