Abstract:
To provide accurate and convenient business card data.
A system which records information in a database storing data in association with mail addresses read out by recognizing characters from images of business cards is provided. The system has a mail acquisition part for acquiring emails, an attribute extraction part for extracting attribute information indicating an attribute of each email sender from a sign character string in the email, and an attribute recording part for recording the attribute information extracted by the attribute extraction part in the database associating it with a mail address consistent with the mail address of each email sender.
