Abstract:
A system for treating bone having an interior volume comprising cancellous bone comprising at least one tool comprising a catheter tube (50) having a distal end, a bone cutting element (170), carried on the distal end of the catheter tube, sized and configured to establish a percutaneous access path into the bone, and a void forming structure (56) integrally carried on the catheter tube proximally of the bone cutting element and being sized and configured to be introduced through the percutaneous access path and form at least one void in cancellous bone of a desired shape and volume.
