PURPOSE: To attain stable data reception against an error in a specific code and a delay of a reception timing or the like caused by a characteristic change at a terminal equipment.

CONSTITUTION: While reception data D1 are converted into parallel data by a serial/parallel conversion section 31, the data are outputted as serial data D2. A specific code detection matrix 32 monitors the parallel data to detect a specific code and generates a detection signal D3. On the other hand, the serial data D2 are stored in a buffer memory section 33 by a write clock control section 34 and read as output data D5 by a read clock control section 36 when the storage of a prescribed data quantity is detected by a counter section 35. Since the specific code is extracted based on parallel conversion data from the reception data, succeeding data reception is attained even to more or less error in the specific code and since the write/read of the reception data is implemented independently, a deviation in the data incoming timing is efficiently absorbed.
