Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely maintain a connected state by interconnecting tables each of which has an edge piece projected downward from the end of its top.
SOLUTION: This table-connecting device has an edge piece 2' provided in such a way as to project downward from the end of the top 1' of one of the pair of tables A, A' connected together. The free end portion of the mounting part piece 11 of a grooved connecting piece 9 is freely rotationally and pivotally attached to the lower surface of the part of the top 1 of the other table A facing the edge piece 2, the connecting piece 9 having at its second end a locking part piece 12 locked with the lower end of the edge piece 2' of the table A', and having at its first end a mounting part piece 11 opposed to the locking part piece 12. A spring piece selectively pressed into contact with the outer and inner edges of the mounting part piece 11 which face each other along the table connecting direction is provided in parallel with the edge piece 2', on the lower surface of the top of the table A.
