Abstract:
To provide a tactile presentation device capable of improving the accuracy of the relative distance to a predetermined portion of the body of a user.SOLUTION: The tactile presentation device includes: a base unit to be fixed to a body of a user; a ring member that encloses a predetermined portion of the body of the user; a ring drive unit provided to the base unit for moving the ring member so that the inner circumference of the ring member comes into contact with the predetermined portion; a ring rotation unit for rotating the ring member around of the center axis of the ring member; and a control unit that controls the ring drive unit and ring rotation unit. The control unit derives a shape model of the predetermined portion by using the position of the ring member when it is determined that the predetermined portion has come into contact with the inner circumference of the ring member.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
