To provide a take-up device which automatically corrects a tension of a conveying direction applied to a recording medium so that the tension becomes uniform at a left and right side in a width direction of the recording medium.
A take-up device includes: a take-up shaft to wind a roll-shaped recording medium P1; a plurality of attachment members 14 which includes holding means 21 to hold the recording medium P1 and attaches a vicinity of a tip of the recording medium P1 thereto; and a torque limiter. When the recording medium P1 has different sizes of sagging at a left and right side in a width direction, the attachment member 14 rotates to eliminate sagging at a different timing at the left and right side in the width direction and generates tension, and the torque limiter maintains a torque constant when the torque corresponding to the tension reaches a predetermined value or higher.
