Abstract:
To provide a take-up method or the like to form a satisfactory roll shape, while reducing a defect to be caused by a blocking phenomenon easily.
A take-up method includes: moving an edge sensor 12 forward/backward along a width direction of a material 2 to be rolled; and taking up the material 2, while moving the material 2 along the width direction, in accordance with a moving amount of the edge sensor 12. A moving speed of the edge sensor 12 is reduced as the amount of material 2 taken up increases.
