Abstract:
To provide a tape cassette which allows a tape printing device to correctly detect a kind of a tape.SOLUTION: A tape cassette 30 comprises: a cassette case 31; at least one tape; a roller support hole 64; a guide hole; and an arm index part 800. The arm index part 800 is provided at inside sandwiched by the roller support hole 64 and the guide hole, in a lateral direction. The arm index part 800 comprises: a pressing part 802 for pressing an arm detection switch to a plurality of arm detection switches when the tape cassette 30 is attached to the cassette attachment part 8; and a non-pressing part 801 not for pressing the arm detection switch. The pressing part 802 is formed of a surface part which is provided foremost part out of a front wall. The non-pressing part 801 is formed of a space being adjacent to the pressing part 802.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
