Title:
TAPE HARD TO CAUSE ICING FOR OVERHEAD LINE AND OVERHEAD LINE HARD TO CAUSE ICING
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2012222912
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To provide a tape hard to cause icing which can prevent or reduce ice-accretion to an overhead line when super-cooled water droplets collide with the overhead line.

In a tape hard to cause icing, fine irregularity is formed on one surface of a metal tape 2 by surface treatment, and a thin water-repellent material layer 3 is installed on the surface along the fine irregularity, and the arithmetic average roughness of the surface in the water-repellent material layer 3 is set to be 3.1 μm or less, and an adhesive layer 4 is installed on the other surface of the metal tape 2. Because the fine irregularity with an arithmetic average roughness of 3.1 μm or less is formed on the surface of the water-repellent material layer in addition to the property of the water-repellent material layer 3 of hardly causing icing, numberless fine voids are formed between the surface of the water-repellent material layer and the ice generated due to collision of super-cooled water droplets so that ice can be easily come off from the surface of the water-repellent material layer.
