Abstract:

To provide a manufacturing method for a tapped coil of novel structure which eliminates the need for a work of forming a tap by bending a conductor in the way of manufacturing the coil body, or a work of connecting a conductor for leading out a tap to the coil body after manufacturing the coil body.

The manufacturing method for tapped coil includes a wire manufacturing step for manufacturing a wire 1 having a plurality of straight parts 12, 14, 16 and U-shaped parts 13, 15 interposed between two adjoining straight parts by bending one conductor 10 into U-shape in the way, and a wire winding step for winding the wire 1, obtained by the wire manufacturing step, into ring-shape thereby forming a coil body where the plurality of straight parts are wound in ring-shape, and taps where the U-shaped parts are projecting from the coil body to the outside.
