Title:
TECHNIQUES FOR PREDICTING, DETECTING AND REDUCING NON-SPECIFIC PROTEIN INTERFERENCE IN ASSAYS INVOLVING IMMUNOGLOBULIN SINGLE VARIANT DOMAINS
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2022031790
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:
To provide ISVs related to an assay that can be used to predict whether a given ISV will be subject to protein interference and/or give rise to a (non-specific) signal in assays (for example an ADA immunoassay).SOLUTION: Provided is a protein, polypeptide or other biological agent comprising at least one immunoglobulin single variable domain (ISV) that binds to a target of treatment and at least one ISV that binds to serum albumin, where the target-binding ISV has a C terminal of specific sequence, where the ISV is a VHH, sequence-optimized VHH, humanized VHH or camelized VHH, or an ISV comprising a VH sequence other than the VHH, sequence-optimized VHH, humanized VHH and camelized VHH, or an ISV derived from a VH sequence.SELECTED DRAWING: None
