Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a telephone set in which no fault takes place with a simple structure and the leakage of electric signal to the outside or the input of illegal electric signal from the outside are prevented by generating a magnetic field between an IC card and a card insert port when a terminal section of the IC card and a contact pin are brought into contact to make communication.
CONSTITUTION: After an IC card 110 is inserted from a card insert port 106 of a public telephone set 100, the telephone set is used by making a terminal section of the IC card 110 in contact with a terminal pin 105 of a contact 104 of the public telephone set 100. The telephone set 100 of the telephone set system using the IC card 110 is provided with a magnetic field generator 102, and the magnetic field generator 102 locally generates a magnetic field to prevent the leakage of an electric signal externally or the input of an external signal when the IC card 110 is set to a prescribed position. The magnetic field generator 102 is arranged in the inside of the public telephone set 100 in the vicinity of the card insert port 106 and uses an AC power supply 102A to generate a strong magnetic field along a ferrite via a wire 102B.
