To provide arbitrary temperature characteristics for a voltage, applied to the input terminal of a semiconductor device such as a voltage-controlled oscillator, by using an ordinary circuit element.
A 3rd resistance R3 is connected in series between a bipolar transistor TR applied with an input voltage at its base and a power source, a 1st resistance R1 is connected between the base of the bipolar transistor TR and the output, and a 2nd resistance R2 is connected between the emitter of the bipolar transistor TR and the output to constitute the temperature compensation system. In this constitution, arbitrary temperature characteristics can be given to the output voltage by combining base-emitter temperature characteristics of the bipolar transistor TR and temperature characteristics of the 1st resistance R1 and 2nd resistance R2, so that temperature characteristics can substantially be eliminated.
