The terminal device provided with speech means for executing a speech function comprises: a frame; display means provided on a first surface of the frame; voice output means which is provided on a second surface opposite from the first surface among the surfaces of the frame and outputs a voice received from a speech destination by speech means; proximity detection means which is provided on the first surface and detects the proximity of a human body; and execution means which when the proximity detection means detects the proximity of the human body while the speech means executes a speech function, executes predetermined notification.
