To provide a terminal position confirming and reporting system with which the current position of a terminal to be confirmed can be confirmed from any arbitrary terminal at arbitrary time.

This system has a mobile communication terminal 10 as the terminal to be confirmed to confirm the current position, terminals 31 and 32 of commanding terminals for outputting command signals to designate the terminal to be confirmed at least, and central control unit 20 for outputting command information showing the detection of the current position at least to the terminal to be confirmed corresponding to the command signals from the terminals 31 and 32. The mobile communication terminal 11 is provided with a position detection part 11 for detecting its own current position and a report command execution part 12 for controlling the operation of position detection due to the position detection part 11 based on the command information and outputting current position information expressing the current position provided from the position detection part 11 to the central control unit 20. Further, the central control unit 20 is provided for outputting the current position information from the mobile communication terminal 10 to terminals 41 and 42 as confirmation terminals to confirm this information.
