Abstract:
PURPOSE: To obtain a ternary azeotropic composition improved in non- flammability, toxicity and solvency by mixing 2,3-dichloro-1,1,1,3,3- pentafluoropropane, trans-1,2-dichloroethylene and methanol.
CONSTITUTION: 43-53 wt.% 2,3-dichloro-1,1,1,3,3-pentafluoropropane is mixed with 42-52 wt.% trans-1,2-dichloroethylene and 3-9 wt.% methoanol to obtain an azeotropic composition having an atmospheric boiling point of about 41.0°C.
