Abstract:
PURPOSE: To maintain a continuous sheet transport path in a satisfactory condition and thereby improve print quality in a thermal printer incorporating a receiver for continuous sheet wound as in a journal printer and a printing unit.
CONSTITUTION: The subject thermal printer consists of sheet feed path formation mechanism 16, 20 which connect a sheet receiver 15, a printing unit 18 and a winding device 22 to each other and fix them and sheet discharge path formation mechanisms 21, 26. Subsequently, the deterioration of positional accuracy caused by a cumulative error during assembly or change with time is mitigated.
