Abstract:
PURPOSE: To achieve the shortening of a recording time and the enhancement of image quality in a thermal transfer recording apparatus.
CONSTITUTION: A thermal transfer recording apparatus is equipped with an ink sheet housing case 4 hausing a multi-ink sheet 3 having a plurality of color bands formed thereon and a plurality of rollers 13-16 feeding the multi-ink sheet 3 along a predetermined feed route and a plurality of thermal heads 5y, 5m, 5c arranged at the intervals corresponding to the feed direction lengths of the respective color bands of the multi-ink sheet 3 and corresponding to the respective color bands.
