To provide a thermoadhesive label with which sufficient adhesive power may be assured even if a thermoadhesive resin layer is heated at a low temp. and a method for mounting this label.
This label comprises a label base material 11 formed by a polyester film having thermal shrinkability, a primer layer 12 and printing layer 13 successively laminated on one surface side of this label base material 11 and a vapor deposited metallic layer 14, anchor coating layer 15 and thermoadhesive resin layer 16 successively formed on the other surface of the label base material 11. The thermoadhesive resin layer 16 is subjected to a corona discharge treatment in the process of mounting the label and thereafter, the thermoadhesive resin layer 16 is heated, by which the thermoadhesive resin layer 16 is activated and the thermoadhesive label 1 is stuck to an article to be mounted.
