Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermoplastic elastomer composition readily processable and having excellent temperature dependence or resistance to ozone and high energy absorption and having low repulsive elasticity.
SOLUTION: This thermoplastic elastomer composition is obtained by blending 70-95 wt.% of a triblock copolymer having polystyrene as a hard segment and a hydrogenated polyisoprene as a soft segment with 30-5 wt.% of a triblock copolymer having polystyrene as a hard segment and a polyisoprene having a vinyl structure in which ≤60% degree of vinylation is contained as a soft segment. By the method, a composition readily processable and having a high vibration absorption at a normal temperature region to a low temperature region and having low repulsive elasticity without any problem of resistance to ozone can be obtained. A vibration-proofing material for a light electrical appliance or an automotive appliance is exemplified for a suitable use.
