Abstract:
PURPOSE:To obtain a thermoplastic resin molding material, excellent in molding stability with hardly any elimination, scattering, etc., of a colorant and useful for producing colored molded products by mixing a granular thermoplastic resin with an emulsion of wax, then adding the colorant and remixing the resultant components. CONSTITUTION:A thermoplastic resin molding material is obtained by successively or simultaneously feeding (A) a granular thermoplastic resin (e.g. polyphenylene sulfide, polybutylene terephthalate or a polyester elastomer), (B) a wax emulsion at 3-70wt.% wax concentration prepared by homogeneously dispersing a wax (preferably oxidation type polyethylene wax having 5-40 KOHmg/g acid value, especially COOH-containing polyethylene wax having 10-30KOHmg/g acid value) in water with a surfactant and (C) a colorant (obtained by mixing a dye or a pigment with a dispersing agent and powdering the prepared mixture, etc.) into a mixer such as Henschel mixer and mixing the components. The component (C) sticks to the surface of the component (A) by using the component (B).
