Abstract:
NEW MATERIAL:Reactive derivative in a carboxyl group of thiazolyl acetates expressed by formula I [R1 is amino or protected amino; R2 is lower alkynyl or (lower)alkyl] or salt of said compound, or lower alkyl ester of nuclear thiazolyl acetates usable for acylation reaction of amino group in said thiazolyl acetates or β-lactam compound.
EXAMPLE: 2-(2-aminothiazole-4-yl)-2-propargyloxyimino acetate.
USE: Used as synthetic intermediate of 7-substituted-3-cephem-4-carboxylic acid having antibacterial activity.
PREPARATION: Ester modification of a compound expressed by formula II is hydrolyzed by using sodium hydroxide in a solvent such as methanol or THF to afford the compound expressed by formula I.
