Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reproduce a three-dimensional(3D) image free from blurs caused by the overlap differences between front and rear images even when observer's eyes move (the observer moves).
SOLUTION: The 3D display method generates a two-dimensional(2D) image projected in an observer's eye direction to plural display faces arranged on respectively different depth positions observed from the observer 101 or 102 and displays 2D images on respective display faces by changing the luminance of the generated 2D image. The horizontal and vertical movement of observer's eyes is detected, 2D images to be displayed on respective display devices are converted in accordance with the detected eye movement and the converted 2D images are displayed.
