Abstract:

To provide a three-dimensional sound field reproducing apparatus capable of reproducing the sound field around the head of a listener in more optimal manner.

The present invention relates to a three-dimensional sound field reproducing apparatus for reproducing a sound field using a plurality of speakers, wherein a plurality of speakers 11, 12, 13, 14, 15 are disposed at positive and negative positions on a three-dimensional axis around a listener 20, speakers 11 of a maximum number are disposed near a horizontal plane on which both ears of the listener 20 are positioned, and the number of speakers is reduced as being away from the horizontal plane upwardly or downwardly to the median plane.
