PURPOSE: To obtain three-dimensional woven fabric having a small amount of deformation in the slant direction as aggregate for composite material, comprising a warp layer arranged in parallel to the longer diction of woven fabric without using weft, a bias yarn layer mutually symmetrically slanting in a plane parallel to the warp layer and a vertical yarn layer perpendicular to each warp.
CONSTITUTION: A warp layer wherein plural warps are arranged in parallel along the longer direction of woven fabric and a bias yarn layer of a pair of two layers wherein plural bias yarns are mutually symmetrically slanted and laid in a plane parallel to the warp layer. Further vertical yarns are continuously inserted into the warp layer in the thickness direction of the woven fabric in such a way that the vertical yarns are perpendicular to the whole warps constituting the warp layer to give three-dimensional woven fabric having excellent isotropy in the plane without using weft.
