Abstract:
A stator core (4) has first, second, and third pole teeth (4a1, 4a2, 4a3) disposed circumferentially and projecting radially outward, the first pole teeth (4a1) face rotor magnets (13) and have symmetric tooth tips (4a1a), the second and third pole teeth (4a2, 4a3) are circumferentially disposed adjacent to the first pole teeth (4a1) and have asymmetric tooth tips (4a2a, 4a3a), and a distance (t2) between the tooth tips (4a2a, 4a3a) of the second and third pole teeth (4a2, 4a3) is smaller than a distance (t1) between the tooth tips (4a1a, 4a2a) of the first and second pole teeth (4a1, 4a2) and the distance (t1) between the tooth tips (4a1a, 4a3a) of the first and third pole teeth (4a1, 4a3). This apparently reduces the facing ratio between the stator pole teeth (4a) and the rotor magnetic poles and increases the cogging torque while preventing increase in cost and reduction in workability.
