Abstract:
To prevent icing from occurring as promoting the simplification of structure, in an engine throttle device.
This throttle device is equipped with a tubular metal valve housing 7 where a throttle valve is installed, a resin throttle body 8 wrapping this metal valve housing, an exhaust gas recirculation(EGR) passage 30 being formed in a cylinder head 1 and leading a part of exhaust gas into a flow of air to be inhaled in an engine, and a metallic support 9 connecting the metal valve housing 7 and a part where the EGR passage 30 of the cylinder head 1 is opened, respectively.
